Connector simplifies robot EOAT cable management

SAS Automation is announcing a new "twist-on' cable saddle frame connector and wire tie system for better EOAT (end-of-arm tooling) cable management. This system allows EOAT builders to attach air hoses and/or power cables to the tool more easily.

Hoses or cables can also be removed and moved to other locations on the tool as needed during the build process with the new "twist-on' design. Twisting the cable saddle to lock it into the profile provides a solid connection to the profile and the ability to move the cables or hoses without wasting the wire ties by having to cut them off.

The cable saddles are available in 15mm and 25mm sizes to accommodate various sizes of EOAT hoses and cables. An opening built into the base of the cable saddle allows for the wire ties to loop through, so the cable saddle can be permanently attached to the cables or hoses.
