Conrad adds Weidmüller handheld self-adjusting crimping pliers
Conrad Business Supplies is introducing two new handheld crimping tools from Weidmller. Designed to minimise the amount of pressure required from the user and hence speed and ease operation, the PZ 10 HEX and PZ 10 SQR crimping tools are suitable for wire-end ferrules with or without plastic collars in the cross-section range 0.14mm ² to 10mm ². These products will join Conrad's existing selection of over 200 different crimping tools, to suit a wide variety of requirements in the assembly, installation and maintenance sectors.
The PZ10 HEX is designed for reliable and widely used hexagonal crimped connections; meanwhile, the PZ10 SQR satisfies demand from customers who require square crimped connections. Both feature an automatic stop, which prevents the tool from being opened unintentionally during use. This also ensures more consistent and precise crimping and prevents time-consuming errors. Finally, an ergonomic handle design ensures safe and comfortable operation. Both the PZ 10 HEX and the PZ 10 SQR offer robust build quality and help guarantee a consistently high level of workmanship.
