Corrosion-resistant shaft collars for marine applications
Ruland manufactures 303 and 316 stainless steel shaft collars to meet the demanding needs of marine and subsea applications that are exposed to the harsh ocean environment. Type 303 stainless steel is suited for above-water applications where the shaft collar can be regularly cleaned, while 316 stainless steel is suited for subsea applications that require high levels of corrosion resistance. Ruland shaft collars are machined to a fine surface finish free of pits and other major imperfections that can lead to premature corrosion and failure. All material is sourced from carefully selected North American mills.
Ruland offers 303 and 316 stainless steel shaft collars in one- and two-piece clamp styles with bore sizes ranging from 1/8" (3mm) to 3" (80mm). Clamp-style shaft collars have high holding power, do not mar the shaft, and allow for simple positioning adjustments.
