Couplings with integral torque sensors

KTR offers flexible coupling designs for standard and backlash-free shaft-to-shaft and flange connections. The company also offers a range torque transducers - including its new MONITEX BT torque and speed measuring device which is integrated into a ROTEX jaw coupling hub and powered via contactless inductive energy transmission.

The compact design allows the MONITEX BT to replace a standard ROTEX hub, offering much shorter assemblies and possibilities for many more working applications.

Measured data can be shown directly on the coupling via a display and also sent via Bluetooth and looked at in a relevant app. Optionally this can be done via an edge device converting the Bluetooth data or by a digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) generating the connection with MONITEX BT and displaying the values as analogue voltage signals.
