CRP Technology staff will be taking part in a number of events over the forthcoming months, as outlined below.
Seminar on RP/RM technologies in Motorsports (UK). This takes place at the University of Derby, UK, on 11 September 2007. The Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Association (RPMA) will hold a seminar based on the use of Rapid Prototyping/Rapid Manufacturing technologies in Motorsports.
Giampiero Testoni, Co-Founder and Managing Director of CRP Racing (CRP Technology's Racing Department), will present a paper about Rapid Manufacturing applications on racing engine: reed valve made by flexible Windform FX and SLS technology.
CRP Technology and CRP Racing would like to thank Graham Tromans for the kind invitation.
Global Motorsport Congress, Koln, Germany. This takes place on 5 and 6 November 2007. Ing. Gabriele Tredozi - former CRP Racing Special Projects Technical Director and former F1 Minardi and Scuderia Toro Rosso Technical Director - will talk about the optimisation of the lubrication system for a dry-sump F1 gearbox, achieved by experimental method using rapid prototyping and rapid casting technologies. The chosen method is the optimisation of the internal volume and the flow rate balance of the various gearbox oil pick-up, by the means of the best manufacturing technology (rapid casting) in order to leave the maximum freedom for the geometric design for the internal box dimensions. More information about the conference is available at www.globalmotorsportscongress.com.
Euro-uRapid 2007. This international users' conference and exhibition on oapid prototyping, rapid tooling and rapid manufacturing takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, on 3 and 4 December 2007. CRP Racing will present a paper entitled Rapid Manufacturing for highly stressed fibre-reinforced plastic parts – case study: new examples for motorbikes and other high-tech applications. The focus will be the end-users' advantages as well as the benefits of using of Windform material.
CRP Technology thanks Dr Rudolf Meyer for the kind invitation.
Euromold, the world fair for mouldmaking and tooling, design and application development), takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, from 5-8 December 2007. CRP Technology will have a booth (in Hall 8) in collaboration with Amber Composites Ltd, a leading supplier and manufacturer to the composite, tooling and adhesive market, and the official distributor of Windform in the UK. This will be an opportunity for the two companies to exhibit the latest products and to confirm the new partnerships around the world.
