CTEL installation system: configuring fieldbus valve terminals

Take one multipin valve terminal, exchange the D-sub connector with an M12 connector - and what do you get? A Fieldbus ready valve terminal at the same cost. The CTEL installation system from Festo allows a wide range of networks to be connected and interchanged quickly and easily using Festo's plug and work principle.

With IO-Link connecting directly to the M12 connector and other networks via CTEU modules, the CTEL installation system is suitable for machine builders looking to design pneumatics once and change the network as often as required for different customers and PLC specifications. In addition, by mounting the CTEU module remotely on the CAPC splitter module, two valve terminals can be connected using just one node, thereby keeping costs down further.
