Custom designed temperature probes meet high quality standards

As part of this comprehensive range, SPA supply various combinations of digital temperature monitoring gauges that provide highly accurate information in real time with the ability for outputting user-programmed alarms such as LED indicators, changing LCD backlight colour or digital output to ECUs.
These competition-standard digital gauges are delivered to SPA customers complete with NTC thermistor probes supplied by Variohm EuroSensor from its ETP range in customised designs that include leads and optional connectors to suit the specific requirements of the SPA product. With a temperature range of -55 to +150degC, these sensors accurately and reliably monitor critical temperature under the arduous shock and vibration conditions experienced in motorsports in media such as engine or gearbox oil and coolant water - with EGT sensors available for exhaust gas and turbo air inlet up to 1100degC.
The NTC probe range is available in three standard configurations with 10K3 sensors - ready mounted in brass housings, ring terminals and hexagonal head bolts - but the design and manufacturing capability available to Variohm EuroSensor includes sensor type and probe encapsulation to suit specific temperature measurement applications across all environments. Users can specify alternative temperature ranges, different thermistor technologies, or mechanical interfacing modifications including lead length, insulation and connectors, etc.
