Cypress CY8CKIT-026 CAN and LIN Shield Kit now at Mouser
Mouser Electronics is now stocking the CY8CKIT-026 CAN and LIN Shield Kit from Cypress Semiconductor. The CY8CKIT-026 kit helps engineers speed the design of applications that feature the Controller Area Network (CAN) and Local Interconnect Network (LIN) protocols, which are widely used in industrial, automation and automotive applications.
The Cypress CY8CKIT-026 CAN and LIN Shield Kit enables designers to evaluate the CAN and LIN slave communication capabilities using any Arduino-compatible microcontroller-based kits that support the protocols. The kit features two CAN transceivers for high-accuracy, high-speed transmissions, two LIN transceivers, and Arduino Uno R3-compatible headers. This kit can be used with any of Cypress's Pioneer kits such as the CY8CKIT-042 PSoC 4 Pioneer Kit, CY8CKIT-044 PSoC 4 M-Series Pioneer Kit, or FM4-176L-S6E2GM FM4 S6E2G-Series Pioneer Kit.
Five example projects for the CY8CKIT-026 CAN and LIN Shield Kit demonstrate the CAN and LIN capabilities of Cypress' PSoC 4 programmable system-on-chip and allow designers create applications with the easy-to-use CAN and LIN slave components in Cypress' PSoC Creator Integrated Design Environment (IDE) or by altering the code examples. The IDE simplifies system design and accelerates time-to-market by enabling concurrent hardware and firmware design.
