Danfoss Drives forms alliance with Quantum Controls

The new partnership between Danfoss Drives and Quantum Controls will, it is stated, enable both companies to enhance its provision of services to customers across the UK involved in water and wastewater management, treatment and supply.

Danfoss is a global leader in the variable speed control of electric motors with the world’s largest installed base of AC Drives with its VLT and VACON ranges. “Delivering trouble-free operation and condition-based monitoring, the VLT Aqua Drive helps water authorities reduce total lifecycle costs with efficiency savings and maximised uptime,” says the company.

Quantum Controls is a leading supplier of variable speed drives (VSDs), electric motors and support services. The company’s Quantum Prime service is said to provide 24/7 instant access to motors and VSDs, which can be in transit within 30 minutes.
