DC-AC inverters with battery charger and UPS function
Powersolve is announcing the new EPS series of DC/AC inverters which are a low-cost DC and AC input sine wave inverter featuring an integral battery charger for UPS function. DC input options available are 12V, 24V and 48V. AC input is 175-264V AC and AC output can be ordered set to either 220 or 230V AC.
Users will be interested to know that these inverters have an auto-transfer time from AC mode to inverter mode of 10ms typical and can therefore be used as an uninterruptible power system with the addition of external batteries.
Every unit has an LCD display to indicate input DC voltage and output AC voltage while LED indicators show the unit's operative status. EPS inverters are designed to shut down in the event of overload, over temperature or short circuit where users are alerted by audible alarms. Powersolve can also incorporate an optional facility for remote control.
All versions are housed in a fan-cooled anodised aluminium enclosure with industry-standard output connectors or terminal block. The Powersolve EPS series meets all relevant safety and EMC standards. Units can be ordered with a variety of AC outlet sockets. There is also a PS series available without the UPS and battery charger function.
