DC UPS benefits from integrated power supply

Phoenix Contact's new Trio uninterruptible power supplies with integrated power supply provide reliable power for DC loads while requiring minimal space. The UPS module and power supply are combined in a single housing. Only one energy storage is required to complete the UPS system.

A large selection of suitable VRLA energy storage units for the three devices with 5, 10, and 20A output current ensures long buffer times. Connected industrial PCs can be shut down easily via the integrated USB interface. An input grid is no longer necessary to start up the uninterruptible power supply. This is because the BAT-START function enables you to start the UPS up from the energy storage system. The dynamic boost supplies up to 150 per cent of the nominal current for 5 seconds, making it possible to start heavy loads. The tool-free Push-in connection makes installing the device quick and easy. Thanks to the comprehensive signalling options and the wide temperature range from -25degC to +70degC, these modules can be used flexibly anywhere in the world.
