DCW LVDT transducers cope with wet environments

The DCW range of short-stroke LVDT position transducers from RDP Electronics Ltd can operate accurately in wet production locations such as pulp and paper plants or in the water industry. Indeed, these LVDTs, complete with integral signal conditioning electronics, are fully tested for totally submersed operations including cable laying.

DCW LVDT transducers cope with wet environments

With displacement ranges from ±2.5mm to ±10mm and the capability of operating at pressures of up to 10 bar, the DCW series offers all the features and convenience expected of a DC-to-DC LVDT transducer including high cycle life, high resolution and high accuracy. Contained in a welded stainless steel construction they are available in unguided, captive or spring-return versions and with the option of 4-20mA output on some models allowing long cables to be tolerated without performance loss. Long stroke versions up to a maximum of ±150mm and 207bar are also included in a comprehensive range of submersible LVDT models.
