EAO to showcase switching, motion control and cooling products
EAO will be showcasing a number of new switching, motion control and cooling products at Southern Manufacturing 2013, including the following:
- Intuitive Multi-Touch Ring Encoder with gesture recognition software: Grayhill's new HMI incorporates a touchpad, an optical encoder and a pushbutton in a single package that can be combined with its Instinct software tools to develop a multi-touch interface for screen navigation and data entry
- Pushbutton switches: See EAO's new Series 82 stainless steel, IP67 vandal-resistant pushbuttons, self-monitoring' failsafe' emergency stop switches and the Series 57 door-opening pushbuttons featuring dual ring bi-colour illumination
- Customised HMIs: EAO will demonstrate its HMI capability with a selection of bespoke products using pushbutton switches, illuminated membrane switches, touch screens and illuminated rubberised keypads. EAO custom HMIs can incorporate various electronic interface technologies including USB and CAN-bus
- Motion control: The Sanyo Denki stepper motor range has been extended to include a miniature 14mm frame size motor for the precision control of small control elements. The range now covers motors from 14mm up to 106mm frame sizes along with a range of micro stepping motor drivers
- Cooling solutions: Sanyo Denki's high-performance HV cooling fans offer high airflow and static pressure; the 80×38mm version peaks at 222m3/hr and 1000Pa whilst its 120×80mm cousin provides 498 m3/hr and 1300Pa.
