EAO's Series 14 indicators provide high-intensity illumination

EAO is adding a compact, high-intensity illuminated and robust LED indicator to its Series 14. The new indicator offers homogeneous LED illumination, an easy to wire PIT (Push-In-Terminal), a very low back panel depth and 180 degree all-round visibility - even from great distances. The robust front protection (up to IP69K) and the IK07 impact resistance make this indicator suitable for use in harsh, industrial environments - in interior and exterior spaces along with applications where high levels of humidity and extreme temperature fluctuations can occur - such as for production robot applications.

Typical applications includine machinery and industrial automation, robotics, heavy duty and special vehicles, rail vehicles, material handling and packaging equipment.

With a minimal back panel depth of just 9.5mm, a small outer diameter of 33.5mm, and a polyamide seal, these units function reliably once mounted in even confined spaces. Connectivity through push-in-terminals (PIT) offer ease and flexibility with installation. Once secured to the panel by use of a fixing nut or a screw thread in the mounting cut-out, the cable is then connected quickly. These units can handle an operational voltage range between 14 and 32V AC/DC, with a current consumption of less than 50mA.

Advantages include:

  • High-intensity illumination
  • Compact, space-saving design
  • Domed lens with 180 degree visibility
  • Easy mounting with reliable PIT terminal
  • IP69K protection

The standard range of options includes red, blue, green, orange and white LEDs that offer a lifetime of more than 50,000 operating hours. EAO Value Added Services are possible with customisation options including colours, operating voltage (from 12 to 36V) and connectors and cables.
