Eaton to supply electrical equipment for Sadara chemical complex

Under the multimillion dollar agreement, Eaton will provide equipment and services to enhance the overall reliability and safety of Sadara's global, fully integrated chemical complex currently under construction in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.

The Sadara complex will be the world's largest integrated chemical facility ever built in a single phase. It will produce more than three million metric tons of value-added chemicals and plastics to serve the rapidly expanding energy, transportation, infrastructure and consumer products sectors.

Eaton's Electrical Sector is contracted to provide custom electrical systems to promote safe and reliable power distribution at the complex. Additionally, Eaton's Electrical Service and Systems division, which has one of the largest and most experienced teams of power system engineers in the industry, will provide Sadara with electrical system startup assistance and training.
