Eaton's redesigned Blackout Tracker now includes Ireland
Eaton is launching a new version of its online tool that enables users to discover how vulnerable the power grid is to power outages. Eaton's redesigned Blackout and Power Outage Tracker features a completely new user-friendly interface and now also covers the Republic of Ireland. Users can explore power outage causes, duration and number of people affected as well as the impact on people and businesses in their region. They can also now submit their own blackout reports. For businesses, downtime, even if only for a matter of seconds, can carry a staggering price tag.
