Electronics housings for sensor and IIoT applications
Phoenix Contact offers a well-designed housing for diverse electronics with its new MCS series. The Monitoring Case System (MCS) is designed for field devices used in sensor technology as well as for IoT and IIoT applications.
Featuring IP65/IP67 degree of protection, the housings are suitable for industrial use. An IP40 version is available as an alternative. The angled housing edge enables almost horizontal mounting of the PCB. This feature enables the preassembled connectors to glide through the holes in the housing. This means that the maximum PCB floor surface can be the same as the housing base surface, achieving maximum use of the installation space.
The electronics housing offers additional hinges. These hinges are subsequently inserted into the housing and connect the upper housing part and the cover to the lower part. This leaves your hands free for maintenance or installation work. The seal is also connected to the housing in such a way that it cannot be lost.
Users combine standard components, optional accessories and Phoenix Contact's comprehensive portfolio of connection technology to create a wide range of solutions for their application.
The MCS is available in three sizes as well as with various frame and cover versions. In addition, the housings can be customised with printing and marking options as well as mechanical processing.
