Exciting times ahead for handling technology firm Robson
Robson Handling Technology Limited is the new name for the modern, progressive, long-established Sheffield business, Geo Robson & Co (Conveyors) Limited. Providing end-to-end handling capabilities, the change of name reinforces the message that the company is much more than a conveyor manufacturer.
Jeff Hudson, CEO says: "Supported by the Board and Shareholders commitment for growth and investment in the company, its employees and infrastructure, substantial positive changes are taking place within the business to deliver enhanced customer experiences. Complementing the Robson group, which includes RJD Engineering, Robson Site Services Ltd has been established to provide dedicated proactive on-site service and maintenance support for the long-term stability and increased longevity of products, systems and technologies.
These positive changes come amid news that Robson secured orders in the first half of the year in excess of 10m, and with the Brexit vote to leave the EU, as a British-based company Robson products and services have become even more attractive and competitive on the world market.
