The FAST Exhibition (Fastening & Assembly Solutions Technology) is the UK's fastener and mechanical fastening and assembly exhibition, the only show of its kind to focus exclusively on putting things together better, whatever the application. The FAST Exhibition is being held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, on 21 October 2010.
Under the strapline Holding everything together better, all types of mechanical fasteners will be shown; these include: generic threaded fasteners, nuts, bolts, studs, rivets, inserts, welded, pressed, self-clinch, self-pierce and self interlocking systems - as well as much more. There will also be many non-mechanical fastener systems such as adhesives, tapes and fibre-fasteners at The FAST Exhibition and at the IASE sister show.
On show are fasteners and fastening and assembly systems designed for fastening of all types of components, assemblies, structural elements and covers for use in the electronics, medical, pharmaceutical, marine, automotive, construction, general industrial, electrical, offshore, undersea, petrochemical, rail, aerospace, telecoms and construction industries.
The FAST Exhibition is focused on cost-saving and performance-enhancing fastener and fastening systems. Mark Newby, MD of organisers Newbycom, says: "It is worth asking yourself - what can I not get from an internet search? We believe the answers include:
