Fastening sets feature ESD properties
Item's latest Standard Fastening Set 5 ESD and Set 6 ESD, available in the UK through Machine Building Systems, is identical to the conventional Standard Fastening Set but with the benefit of a specially designed screw that partially destroys the insulating aluminium oxide on the profile to ensure an electrical contact between the two profiles being joined.
To ensure the ESD fastening set is readily identifiable, the components have a RoHS-compliant yellow passivated zinc plated finish.
