FDT Group names Hartmut Wallraf as new Chairman

FDT Group names Hartmut Wallraf as new Chairman

Wallraf is currently Chief Technology Officer and Vice President for Europe Middle East Africa with Invensys. He has over 30 years' experience in the process industry supporting process automation, measurement and control, related to the refining, petrochemical, chemical/pharmaceutical and the power industries. After gaining a Masters degree in engineering from the University of Cologne, he spent five years with Bayer in Germany and has since spent 27 years with Invensys Foxboro in various functions.

Wallraf has been an active member of the FDT Group Board of directors from the beginning. He has consistently advocated the strategic role of FDT technology and has been instrumental in the strong commitment of Invensys to the FDT Group.

The FDT Group Board says it acknowledges the significant contribution of Wallraf's predecessor, Hartmut Wuttig, who led the FDT Group for the past two years and made it a recognised presence in the industrial automation market.
