Firstsight Vision introduces high-intensity LED spotlights
Firstsight Vision is adding the CCS HSL high-intensity LED spotlights to its range of illumination sources. The new CCS HSL series offers high-intensity condensed illumination with minimal light loss and high efficiency. The spotlights can illuminate objects at distances of up to 2m away with an area of illumination approximately 30cm in diameter. Throughout the illumination distance, these LED spotlights flood the objects under test in an intense, highly uniform light to create working conditions suitable for high-contrast inspection applications.
Available in four standard colours (red, white, blue and green), these lamps have low power consumption to keep down running costs, and low-heat output for safe operation. In addition, a long working life of 30,000 hours significantly reduces maintenance costs and eliminates the concern of bulbs burning out.
In addition to their low maintenance and operating costs, the HSL series high-intensity spotlights provide an environmentally-friendly alternative to halogen spotlights. Carbon dioxide emissions are 98 per cent lower over a six-year period.
An HSL starter kit is also available, containing a light source, matching power supply unit and a 5m cable.
