Flat-fronted profile suits guards and shelving

Machine Building Systems is introducing new Profiles 6 30x24 and 60x24 light, which are said to be particularly suitable for use as frames and struts in guards, enclosures and shelf constructions.

They are mainly used to connect between 30mm profiles to give a neat offset of 6mm. This enables, for example, a panel up to 6mm thick to be installed adjacent to the 24mm wide profiles to give a flush finish.

Used inside a frame, the profile can serve as a high-strength support for a shelf or other member, and helps to reinforce the entire structure.
