Flexicon strengthens top team with new Managing Director
Following several years of significant growth, Flexicon has further strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Duncan McKinlay as its new Managing Director. McKinlay has several years' experience in the electrical industry and has previously been Managing Director of Cable Management Products.
Adrian Poulton, chief executive of Flexicon Group, says: "We have now had several years of rapid growth both in the UK and abroad and have re-established the well-known hosing and ducting brand Griflex. To help manage this continued growth, we needed to strengthen the management team and Duncan's appointment is the first of these key recruits.
"Our story is very much one of a successful UK manufacturer, with all of the benefits that this brings in terms of product availability and also in developing new flexible conduit systems to address new market needs. A major part in supporting our growth is to invest heavily in developing new and innovative product ranges and in our manufacturing capacity.
