Flir appoints new Area Manager for Distribution Sales

On graduating from the University of London with a history degree, Mann immediately embarked on a career in sales. He has since risen through the management ranks of several electronic component manufacturers.

At Flir Systems, Mann is responsible for developing and managing the network of distributors, wholesalers, catalogue distribution companies and agents through whom the entire range of Flir thermal imaging cameras is now sold. Models extend from low-cost troubleshooting cameras through to sophisticated systems for detailed thermal analysis in predictive maintenance and building science applications.

On his appointment Mann said: "I wanted a career with a company that is exciting, well-respected, well-structured and stable - and Flir Systems ticks all the boxes." Based in Oxfordshire, Mann's new sales territory covers East Anglia, the South Midlands and Wales.
