Free brochure: 'Bearing solutions for medical technology'
Schaeffler has published a brochure, Bearing solutions for medical technology, that outlines its INA and FAG-branded bearings for medical equipment. Applications range from computer tomography (CT) and operating theatre equipment to ophthalmology and dentistry.
As well as an extensive range of standard products, the Schaeffler group companies can also develop customised bearing systems for both linear and rotary motion. As well as a choice of bearing materials - including non-metallic materials - customers are offered a selection of surface coatings and lubrication options. It should also be borne in mind that the Schaeffler group includes not only the INA, FAG and Barden bearing brands, but also IDAM (for drives and mechatronics) and Lacey, a full-service integrated contract manufacturer of precision components, sub-assemblies and finished assemblies for medical technology.
