Free conference explains benefits of Ethernet Powerlink
B&R UK is inviting engineers to attend the European Industrial Ethernet Conferences 2011. The conferences, which are titled Powerlink on tour with Industry Leaders, are organized by ASCO Numatics, B&R, Cognex and Staubli. These companies will present current Powerlink implementations and demonstrate how the core technologies of automation can be networked to create integrated systems based on Ethernet Powerlink (EPL).
Attendees will learn how a consistent and well integrated system comprising robotics, vision, pneumatics, motion and control could boost automation performance and provide added value for machine builders, system integrators and end users.
The UK conference will be held on Wednesday 16 November 2011 at the National Motorcycle museum in Birmingham. Attendance is free of charge, and details and on-line registration are on the EPSG website at conferences.ethernet-powerlink.org/. Attendees will also be entered into a free draw to win an iPad 2, which will be presented on the day.
