Free seminars explain changes in machinery safety standards

Routeco is working with Rockwell Automation to promote a series of Functional Safety Seminars that will be taking place during June 2008. The seminars will explain how safety standards are changing, what the new EU Directive means and how personnel and machinery can be protected from everyday risks without adversely affecting productivity.

During the space of just a few hours, attendees will find out what is new and what is coming, and how the changes can be implemented.

Key topics covered will include:

  • Safety Standards - What is new, what is coming and which ones do I need to know about?
  • How do the new standards impact on existing risk assessments?
  • How to integrate components into a safety solution
  • How you can use PLCs in safety applications

Where possible, the organisers say time will be made available for open discussions relating to attendees' specific needs.
