German office strengthens international profile for Power Jacks

The company, which produces industrial lifting and positioning equipment for customers globally, has appointed experienced industry figure Kai Liesendahl to head up the new operation. The German office will operate under the name Power Jacks GmbH and adds a new dimension to the Scotland-based company's international profile.

Executive Chairman Bruce Bultitude says: "This is an exciting step forward for Power Jacks and demonstrates our determination to maximise our potential in the European market. Power Jacks has a long history of designing, manufacturing and delivering high-quality products, and we see this as a prime opportunity to build on that and create sustainable business growth in a key market."

The German office, based in Wangen im Allgu, Baden-Wrttemberg, represents Power Jacks' first permanent base on the European mainland. It augments a network of 15 distributors and agents across the continent, and its location in southern Germany means it is well situated to support sales and development work in several other European countries.

Power Jacks also has a representative office in Shanghai to support Asian activities and a strong strategic presence in Africa and Australasia.

Kai Liesendahl has assumed the title of Sales & Business Development Director for Europe. He has worked in a series of senior sales, marketing, export and customer services roles in recent years.

Bruce Bultitude adds: "Kai is very experienced in the industrial automation sector and we're pleased to welcome him to the Power Jacks team. With his in-depth knowledge and experience of linear motion he is ideally equipped to take on this pivotal role.
