GuardCard infrared gas sensor offers high performance

Edinburgh Instruments is launching a new range of mains-powered infrared gas sensors that deliver highly accurate measurements of CO2, CH4, CO and N2O gas concentrations. Designated the GuardCard range, the sensors incorporate a volt-free relay outputs and an integral pump so that they can be used for continuous monitoring and control. The GuardCard can be used for either a single area or integrated with sampling systems for sequential monitoring of multiple areas.

GuardCard infrared gas sensor offers high performance

The main component of this unit is an innovative dual-wavelength infrared sensor that provides reliability, accuracy and long-term stability. The operating temperature is 0-40 degrees C, with a measuring accuracy and stability of +/-2 per cent of range, which includes an allowance for accuracy of the calibration gases used to calibrate the instruments.

As an OEM sensor, the GuardCard is a versatile device capable of being integrated into many analytical systems.

The GuardCard range is suitable for many applications in the processing, engineering, laboratory, and manufacturing industries.
