Hamamatsu dual mode X-ray image intensifier
Hamamatsu Photonics is producing a range of technologies for real-time X-ray imaging and X-ray crystallography. The V10905P is a dual-mode X-ray image intensifier, offering both 4-inch and 2-inch modes. When used in 2-inch mode, the reduced field of view produces a very high magnification whilst maintaining both high contrast and high resolution. The V10905P is compatible with a wide range of analogue and digital cameras.
Hamamatsu also manufactures Microfocus X-ray Sources, automatically controlled with an external control signal input via a built-in RS232 interface. Spot sizes smaller than 0.25 microns are possible, with X-ray tube voltages up to 230kV.
The design of the V10905P means it is suitable for a range of applications including non-destructive inspection, industrial X-ray CT and in-line X-ray inspection.
