Hansford Sensors wins EEF Future Manufacturing Award

The EEF Future Manufacturing Awards celebrate the success of manufacturers across the UK and attract a high standard of entries from some of the country's leading industrial companies. Among these, Hansford Sensors has stood out for its longstanding focus on building a successful UK manufacturing business, which currently exports 90 per cent of its products worldwide.

Managing Director, Chris Hansford, is delighted with the recent award: "Over the last few years we've transformed our business, opening subsidiaries in Germany, Poland, India and the USA, while working with carefully selected partners in many other countries. We've also developed an extremely effective sales, marketing and technical support programme, which enables us to help customers meet the challenges of vibration monitoring in a wide range of demanding industrial applications.

"As a result, we've built our export business from just 20 per cent of turnover, to over 90 per cent. At the same time, we've increased sales by around 20 per cent year on year, doubled the size of our UK production and customer support operation and created a growing number of engineering, managerial and administrative jobs."
