Hawk launches explosion-protected infrared cameras
Hawk IR International is introducing what it describes as the worlds first infrared camera for use in explosive atmospheres, the Ex|CAM AP-Professional.
Predictive maintenance (pdm) of safe AND explosive areas can now be carried out using a single camera, without the need for hot work permits.
Some of the AP-Professional's features include:
- ATEX Certified by DNV
- Zone 1 IIC T4
- Intrinsically Safe (IS) protection
- Ingress protection to IP67
- Onboard image storage and post-inspection report software
- Free HazEx Thermographer training*
