Hawk launches explosion-protected infrared cameras

Hawk IR International is introducing what it describes as the worlds first infrared camera for use in explosive atmospheres, the Ex|CAM AP-Professional.

Hawk launches explosion-protected infrared cameras

Predictive maintenance (pdm) of safe AND explosive areas can now be carried out using a single camera, without the need for hot work permits.

Some of the AP-Professional's features include:

  • ATEX Certified by DNV
  • Zone 1 IIC T4
  • Intrinsically Safe (IS) protection
  • Ingress protection to IP67
  • Onboard image storage and post-inspection report software
  • Free HazEx Thermographer training*

If you already own an infrared camera, Hawk IR International can trade-in your delicate safe-area instrument for the rugged, certified Ex|CAM AP-Pro, thereby minimising the initial cost of ownership. If you would like a representative to contact you regarding our trade-in opportunities, visit www.safeinfrared.com to get in touch.

*The offer of free HazEx training is valid for all courses scheduled in 2007. Training is provided at the Infrared Safety Centre in the UK.
