Herga's 6202 series protective guard brings added safety
Herga Technology is introducing a new range of protective guards for use with a wide selection of its general purpose, medical-grade, light-duty and industrial footswitches.
The formed and welded mild steel design of the 6202 series has an attractive look with a handle cut-out and a tough and durable powder coat paint finish in a choice of black or grey RAL colours. Single and double-pedal versions are available with fixings to suit Herga Technology's 6210, 6219, 6225, 6226, 6229, 6254 and 6289 footswitches. Sturdy non-slip rubber feet are fitted for complete stability. The new guard will benefit users in many application areas, in particular medical and industrial laser users that require extra protection against inadvertent operation.
Herga Technology's comprehensive footswitch range offers an extensive choice of single- and multi-pedal models with electric/electronic and wireless switching technologies as standard designs with many options for switching functions, colours, labelling, interfacing and more. With IEC and UL 60601-1 medically approved models and environmental protection ratings from IPx2 to IPx8, the range covers a diversity of applications and Herga Technology also offers custom-designed single and multi-function switches. These can include additional control functions with potentiometers, joysticks and sensor feedback for setting and actuator devices.
