High torque capacity mechanical power transmission couplings

For coupling applications where substantial torque is required, jbj Techniques offers the ZAPEX, N-ARPEX and RUPEX ranges of high torque capacity couplings.

ZAPEX couplings offer a rated torque TKN up to 7,200,000 Nm, and are torsionally rigid, ATEX approved, and feature low torsional backlash. Maximum torque is dependent on coupling size, but as examples, the smallest coupling in the range, size 112, is rated at 1300 Nm, while the largest, size 1540, is rated at 7,200,000 Nm.

N-ARPEX couplings offer rated torque TKN up to 2,000,000 Nm. Torsionally rigid and ATEX approved, they feature no torsional backlash. Maximum torque is again dependent on coupling size, with the smallest – size 86-6 –  rated at 350 Nm and the largest – size 988-10 – rated at 2,000,000 Nm.

RUPEX couplings offer rated torque TKN up to 1,300,000 Nm, and are torsionally flexible, carry ATEX approval, and feature low torsional backlash. Rated torque for the smallest size (105) is 120 Nm, while for the largest size (200) it is 1,300,000 Nm.
