Hinges for Covid barriers and shields

Construction of anti-Covid protective barriers using hinges from EMKA

Hinges for Covid barriers and shields

Hinges from EMKA aren’t just found on new build or refurbished factory floor machinery: they are now appearing at supermarket checkouts, shop cashpoints and other public service positions where they can add flexibility for shop owners and users alike. The hinged protection panels allow retailers and their staff to move barriers and shields more easily between key locations across retail outlets, according to demand.

EMKA’s 1056 lift off hinge, available in stainless steel, zinc die or polyamide – in metal finish or black is frequently favoured by both machine builders and manufacturers of anti-Covid screens: torque adjustable versions are often specified  where quick opening is required without the need for a lock. 1056 program hinges are available with stud fixings for speed and ease of assembly or with screw facilities, and variants are offered to match common aluminium profile frames too.
