How robotics can make a book into a real page turner
igus has released a video that provides an elaborate demonstration of a book scanner using a robolink articulated arm to turn the pages automatically between each page scan; the scanned pages can then be archived electronically and accessed for any purpose.
Available from igus as a modular system, robolink opens up a world of possibilities for low-cost robotics. By using the robolink designer tool, engineers and hobbyists alike can easily combine robolink components, design individual robots and add or remove optional components.
