Hansford Sensors is launching a new range of vibration sensors for monitoring levels of vibration on important rotating machinery used in production and process industries.
The HS-130 series of vibration sensors has been designed as a compact device with a 50 per cent smaller body diameter and a weight of just 30g. These features make it suitable for use where space is limited or where the additional weight would alter the test characteristics.
This general-purpose industrial accelerometer has a robust stainless steel construction and is sealed to IP65, which enables it to be used in difficult industrial conditions. The sensors are fitted with non-over braided, fire-retardant, twin-core screened cable. The sensors provide a 100mV/g signal using a top-entry cable arrangement.
Excellent in predictive maintenance roles when monitoring vibration levels on important plant such as fans, motors, gearboxes, etc., the HS-130 Series is just one of many vibration sensors offered by Hansford Sensors Ltd to suit a variety of applications throughout the industries of paper, water and waste, metals, mining, oil and gas, utilities, building services and many more.
The new HS-BE series of sensor connection boxes is suitable for use with these sensors, particularly on air handling units. The connection boxes are easy-to-use units, sealed to IP55 and available for up to four channels of sensors linked via the BNC connectors.
