Minitec says that thanks to the flexibility of its profile system, well known to many machine builders, it has developed a screen system. It is said to be suitable for use in a wide range of organisations, both in the industrial sector and those that deal with the general public. The screen is designed to ensure the safety of staff, operators and site visitors and is constructed from Minitec’s aluminium profiles and clear polycarbonate plexiglass. Stated to be easy to clean and maintain, the standard protective screen panel is designed to sit or mount to an existing worksurface. 

It is 1 metre high and 1.5 metres wide and can be extended by using multiple panels, and features an additional shorter corner panel where required for extra protection. The lower section of the screen unit has a 20cm recess for the passing through of items between people. The flexibility of the MiniTec profile offering means that the company can adapt the solution to almost any bespoke size to cover a wide range of applications: included amongst these are units for reception desks, shop counters, till checkouts, dispatch stations, machine operators, security desks and checkpoints. 

Minitec says that thanks to its outstanding staff it is continuing with its own manufacturing and production during the pandemic and remains well placed to respond to urgent customer demands as they emerge.
