IDS unveils 10 GigE uEye FX high-speed camera with PoE
At VISION 2018 IDS will launch the GigE vision-supported uEye FX industrial camera that optimally makes use of modern sensors in terms of high resolution, fast frame rates and high bit depth. The GigE vision-supported uEye FX can be easily integrated into existing infrastructures and, at the same time, provides great flexibility when it comes to available bandwidth. The maximum speed of the camera is 10 GigE, which is guaranteed up to 50m cable length. Depending on the existing or required infrastructure, the camera automatically adapts its transmission speed to the bandwidths of 5GigE, 2.5GigE or 1GigE (100m maximum cable length possible).
Furthermore, the compact (60 x 60 x 90mm) uEye FX camera features PoE (Power-over-Ethernet), which means there is no need for a separate power supply cable. In addition, it has three Opto-IN, two Opto-OUT and two Fast-Opto-OUT I/O.
Thanks to its modular design, the uEye FX can integrate large-format sensors and provide substantial amounts of data at high speed. A functional concept study of the camera family with a high-resolution 12MP sensor will be displayed at VISION.
