Improved speed controller for cabinet cooling fans

Rittal's new SK3120.200 electronic speed control for two-pole single-phase AC motors replaces the older controllers SK3120.000 and SK3120.115. The new device has a supply range from 100-230V, 50/60Hz and is a simple snap fit onto standard 35mm DIN rail, which makes it easy to position within an enclosure.

Supplied with a temperature sensor that can be positioned inside the enclosure to monitor hot spots, the device controls the fan speed based on a manually adjusted set point to ensure optimum cooling and noise reduction. A minimum speed set point gives full control over cooling within the enclosure.

A visual LED and an alarm relay indicate over-temperature, fan failure, sensor failure or short-circuit or interruption to the supply cable or fan cable.
