In search of the high gains

Mouser Electronics is now stocking the SKY67181-396LF broadband high-gain LNA from Skyworks Solutions.

The LNA is a wide-band low-noise amplifier “with superior gain flatness and exceptional linearity”, says Mouser. The compact 2mm x 2mm, 8-pin Dual Flat No-Lead packaged LNA is designed for 4G LTE and 5G NR infrastructure systems operating from 3300MHz to 5000MHz.

The internal active bias circuitry of the Skyworks SKY67181-396LF is also said to provide stable performance over temperature and process variation.

Applications for the device include 4G LTE and 5G NR systems, active antenna array and massive MIMO; receive LNAs for micro cell, macro cell, and small cell base stations, land mobile radios and military communications, and low-noise broadband gain block and driver amplifiers.
