INTERBUS basic profile now at version 1.10

INTERBUS Club has defined a basic profile which enables the uniform management of components from those manufacturers equipped with PCP communication software. Indeed, device-specific data, historical information and error images, are often required for managing field devices, as well as current status diagnostics.

INTERBUS basic profile now at version 1.10

All the relevant device information is stored in standard objects, which the user can access using a defined mechanism. Based on additional information about the device and its properties, the machine/system start-up has been simplified and the downtimes are reduced. In addition, the uniform error codes have been defined.

Version 1.10 of the INTERBUS basic profile is now available for download. It differs from version 1.02, in that it contains a section that describes modular devices and various objects have been added. In addition, new objects have been integrated and the list of permissible communication error codes has been revised and extended.
