IP68 Teetube connector accepts cables up to 17mm

Hylec-APL offers an extensive range of electrical and electronic components. Teetube is a new range to be supplied by Hylec-APL, available in a variety of connector sizes. High-integrity TPE-V seals provide reliability and protection, accommodating cables up to 17mm diameter (depending on product).

For certain models, the Teetube is also available with a transparent barrel, which enables the connection to be checked without compromising its protection. Certain models are also available in a coloured translucent tube - colours available are red, yellow, orange or green. The transparent models are equally as tough as other models and have the same IP68 protection rating. Well-finished and aesthetically pleasing, the Teetube is suitable for a range of applications, both commercial and domestic.

Other useful design features include highly visible yellow washers for easy on-site assembly. The availability of adaptors for soft or smaller cables also improves the seal compression on the cable. All the products in the range are manufactured to ISO 9002 quality standards.

Hylec-APL says it is the exclusive supplier of Teetube and the rest of the Tee range including the Teebox and Teeplug. The Tee range has been used in several projects including in the installation of the lighting at the recent Singapore Grand Prix.
