IP69K terminal box added to Rittal Hygienic Design range
Rittal is launching a Hygienic Design (HD) terminal box as the latest addition to it portfolio of HD enclosures; these provide IP69K protection and are typically used in clean rooms and for open processes in the food industry, where there is an emphasis on ease of cleaning.
Utilising Rittal's HD system accessories, the following benefits have been designed into the stainless steel cases and enclosures, which are available in a number of sizes:
- Simple cleaning with inclined surfaces of 3 degrees on all sides and 10 degrees on the front cover
- All-round gap-free silicone seal between the enclosure and front cover
- Hygiene-compliant hexagon locks and seam-free construction
Each HD terminal ox features captive quick-release cover locks and a one-piece silicone seal that is easily replaced. For component installation and greater flexibility, internal rails feature a 6.25mm hole pitch, standard support rails and mounting plates that can be fitted directly.
