Jaeger electric linear actuators now available from SKF
Following its recent acquisition of Taiwan-based Jaeger Industrial Limited, SKF is now selling and supporting Jaeger's range of versatile and cost-effective electromechanical actuators, electronic control units and complete actuation systems.
The Jaeger family complements SKF's existing range of linear motion products. This provides the company's customers with quick and simple access to one of the world's widest and most innovative ranges of linear motion products, backed by SKF's proven technical expertise and renowned global support services.
Principal Jaeger products now available from SKF include linear actuators capable of generating forces up to 7500N and compact electronic actuator controllers designed to be easy to program and operate.
Features such as ingress protection up to IP65, and the availability of integral brakes and limit switches, combined with high reliability and compact construction, mean that many of the actuators in the Jaeger range are particularly suited for use in high-tech market sectors, such as healthcare and medical, where typical applications include hospital beds, patient lifters, adjustable tables, wheelchairs and furniture such as power-operated reclining chairs.
