James Walker Townson has announced on-going expansion of its chimney sealing activities, with a full custom-design and installation service plus the use of top-grade fluoroelastomer and fluoroplastics materials.
The company's custom designed sealing systems have been developed to reduce installation costs and James Walker Townson now offers an extended warranty with its chimney work.
For long service life, these seals have the same corrosion resistance as the inside of the chimney while remaining flexible and abrasion resistant. James Walker Townson's multiple Comflex chimney expansion joints of fluoroelastomer and fluoroplastics work in wet conditions and can accommodate large axial movements using pantograph control techniques.
Managing director Bill Evans, who chairs the CICIND (Comité International des Cheminées Industrielles) subcommittee for seals and expansion joints within chimneys, said: "Our custom designed chimney sealing systems are renowned for reducing installation costs."
The company has also announced that it now has over 15 years of experience in seals and expansion joints within chimneys.
