Jet Press has upgraded and re-issued its CD Rom sales catalogue to keep up with the significant additions to its product range.
The company, based in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, stocks 8000 engineering, adhesive and fastening products, serving the industrial, furniture and security sectors.
Printing and postage costs - plus customer demand for a high-tech user-friendly electronic catalogue - prompted Jet Press to switch to CD Roms in recent years, but following the expansion of its product range, its current version has had to be replaced.
The entire range, across all sectors, is now available on one disc, which has also been updated so that its in-built search facility works even faster. Another advantage is that it is compatible with a conventional PC CD drive.
Andrew Mitchell, Sales and Marketing Director, says: "Since the last CD Rom was issued, we have launched a range of gas springs and greatly increased the number of specialist fasteners that we offer, which meant the CD Rom was out of date.
"We still produce the printed catalogues, but such is the range of products we offer, our industrial components catalogue alone weighs 2kg. Not only is the new CD small and light, making it especially suited for sending out to our European customers, it could not be simpler and more convenient to use."
