Jetter is making programming with the high-level language JetSym STX easier and more convenient. Version 5 of the JetSym development tool now features a simulation controller. With this, JetSym STX programs or program parts can be tested and debugged without a connected hardware controller. In addition, it supports new data types. The status and signal recording options in the integrated oscilloscope were also extended. In addition to Subversion and SourceSafe, JetSym can now also be used to work with the source code management tool "Team Foundation Server" from Microsoft.
The JX3 modular system is being expanded to include the new gateway peripheral module JX3-COM-EIPA, used to connect Jetter controllers via Ethernet to other established fieldbus systems, such as EtherNet/IP. This protocol is already integrated. In the near future, Profinet Device will also be implemented, and further protocols are planned.
New HMIs will also be introduced, and Jetter is offering the two well-proven graphic displays JV-305 and JV-308 in a new portrait format. For further details about JetSym STX version 5, please visit www.jetter.de.
