Kanya profile connectors now with tamper-resistant screw

Thinking Space Systems is ow offering the Kanya PVS-Safe screw M12x12, the use of which ensures that Kanya PVS connectors cannot be removed from aluminium frameworks without a special Allen key.

These zinc-plated steel fasteners are designed for use in PVS connectors on Kanya base 30, 40 and 50 aluminium profiles. They are intended for safety-critical application such as machine guards, where tamper-resistance is important.

Unlike conventional socket-head screws, the PVS-Safe screw features a small pip that prevents an ordinary hex key from being used; instead the screw is fastened and unfastened using the special Allen key that has a recess to fit over the pip in the screw.
